American dream under attack

Spring Hill, Fla. - Former candidate for president proclaims the American dream is under attack.

The Hernando County Republican Executive Committee hosted their annual Lincoln Day dinner at the Palace Grand.  Their nationally-renowned guest speaker said America is on a path of destruction.

Herman Cain, former Republican Presidential candidate, arrived late to the dinner, but did not disappoint the waiting crowd.  His speech began by saying American dream is under attack.

"We have become a nation of crisis," Cain said.  "Our biggest deficiency is the lack of leadership in Washington DC."

Cain said the Presidential election is the most important election in our life time. Indicating that history repeats itself with the arrogance of its leaders and too much government, he said we were on a path of destruction.    "America is at a crossroads," He said. 

Urging everyone to stay focused, Cain said, "The main street media and the Democrats will flat-out lie to win this election.  It is important to stay involved, to elect people from the top of the ticket down to the local level"
